Please keep Foursquare missionary Carina Greer and her family in your prayers. On Thursday of last week she found out that she is going to need emergency surgery. She has an ovarian cyst that the doctors estimate to be the size of a soccer ball. She and her family are in the midst of traveling from Papua New Guinea to Cairns, Australia for the surgery. The surgery is scheduled to be performed on Thursday Oct. 23. The physicians are very concerned about the cyst bursting before they can do the surgery and any other damage that it may have done.
Pray that God in His great power and mercy will heal Carina, protecting her internal organs from any and all damage that may have been caused by the cyst and ask the Lord to guide the hands of the medical professionals that will be attending to her. As you are interceding for the family pray that God will guard her from post-surgery infections and that the family's medical insurance will cover a large portion of the expense incurred by this emergency. The Greers will remain in Australia following the surgery until potential danger from post-surgery complications has passed. Pray for her swift recovery and that God will flood the immediate and extended family with His peace throughout this situation. Pray also for Carina and Paul's youngest son Ezra who has been suffering from an inner ear infection.
Thank you so much for praying,
