Our Strategy to Reach the Nation
Foursquare Philippines continues to grow through a national church planting strategy. Church leaders continue to target unreached areas in which to start new churches. They also support their ongoing need for trained leaders with a network of six Bible colleges and many In-Service Leadership Training seminars that are held at various locations throughout the country. They are committed to sending out missionaries and currently considering developing a national missionary training program.
The Need In Philippines
Praise God for the phenomenal growth in the Philippines! To support this growth, leaders are being trained and developed through leadership conferences. Plans are also being made to assist with church plants in 17 districts.
Join Us In Prayer
- Pray for national leader Val Chaves, as he serves this rapidly growing work of more than 1,400 churches. Ask for wisdom, guidance and endurance.
- Pray for protection upon Foursquare leaders and churches located in the Southern Philippines, areas where there are many Muslim terrorists.
- Pray for leadership development as new and younger leaders take on positions of responsibility. Ask the Lord for provision and protection so that pastors and leaders are able to continue to plant churches in the remote areas and in other nations, which are often hostile to the Gospel message.
- Intercede for the many needs of the Bible colleges, as they stand at the forefront of leadership training.
