Mission Endowment FundArthur & Edith Edwards Mission Endowment Fund
The Edwardses’ successful method of evangelizing nations by first reaching the cities, and then allowing local leaders to spread the good news to the rest of the country, was adopted by Foursquare Missions. This method of training indigenous leaders who will then plant churches in other villages and cities continues to be our core value today.
In honor of the Edwardses’ vision to reach the lost and train leaders from those who have converted, the Arthur and Edith Edwards Missions Endowment Fund was established. The purpose is to continue to plant churches in unreached nations and key cities around the world, to partner in the development of national leadership, and to facilitate the expansion of the Kingdom of God through the use of endowment fund monies. (The corpus, or total gift amount, given to the endowment fund will not be depleted; rather, the interest from the corpus will be used to fund missionaries for years ahead.)
